Essiac and AIDS

Can Essiac overcome AIDS?

Dr. Gary Glum, a successful California chiropractor who specialzed in treating world class athletes had heard about Essiac's healing properties and in the late 1970's began his search for the formula and recipe.

In his journalistic search he found people who were diagnoised with incurable cancer and were cured by taking Essiac and he even went to Canada to interview Mary McPherson a long time friend and personal assistant to Rene Caisse before Ms. Caisse passed on in 1978.  Rene Caisse was given the formula in the 1920's by the Ojibway Indians in North Eastern Canada and began using it on cancer patients in Canada and eventually came to the US and worked with Dr. Charles Brusch*, president John F. Kennedy's personal physician.

Dr. Glum also confirmed the authenticity of the formula and uncovered enough information about Rene Caisse that he wrote a book "Calling of an Angel" about the trials and tribulations of Rene Caisse, the pressure of the Canadian Government to "shut her down" and the ransacking of her home after her death and burning of her records.  It was just lucky that her friend, Mary McPherson managed to save some of these records.

I am giving you this background so you understand how the government and special interest groups, like the pharmaceutical industry, and others, such as the IRS,  can pressure those people that have a different approach to cures or remedies, that are not according to "FDA requirements".

Dr. Glum made the following statements in an interview about 1990:  "I also worked with the AIDS Project Los Angeles......They had sent 179 patients home to die.  They all had pneumocystis carini and histoplasmosis.  Their weight was down to about 100 pounds.  Their T-4 cell counts were less than ten."

"The project gave me five of these patients.  I took them off the AZT and the DDI and put them on Essiac three times a day.  Those are the only ones alive today.  The other 174 are dead.  But this information is not being disseminated either, because AIDS is on the horizon as another big moneymaker."

Dr. Glum was harassed by US Marshals and almost completely financially ruined by bogus IRS claims, and according to reports in http://www.naturalnews.com/ was later threatened along with the lives his family by a Naval Intelligence operative if he continued to publish his two books, the other book being "Full Disclosure."

*Dr. Charles Brusch used Essiac to treat and cure his prostate cancer and the late Senator Ted Kennedy's son's incurrable cancer successfuly with Essiac.  Unfortunately, he was hit with a gag order and told to keep quiet or wind up in prison for the rest of his life.  Of course, Dr. Brusch chose to remain silent publicly, however in Dr. Glum's book "Calling of an Angel" he had this quote from Dr. Brusch, "the results we obtained with thousands of patients of various races, sexes and ages, with all types of cancer, definitely prove Essiac to be a cure for cancer.  All studies done in four laboratories in the United States and one more in Canada fortify this claim."

Interesting story about Essiac, do you agree?

I had a brother that died of AIDS in 1992 and I wish I had known about Essiac then!

Essiac and Toxicity

Can Essiac have a toxic side effect?

Absolutely not.  Here is a quick story that goes back to the 1970's, when parents made a quart of essiac tea, left it in the refrigerator and left the house with a six month old baby and a babysitter.  The babysitter thought it was ice tea and filled up an eight-ounce bottle of Essiac, straight, undiluted and gave it to the baby.  The baby sitter also drank two glasses herself.

When the parents returned home and found out about this, they flipped out and monitored the baby for two days, without any side effect at all.

Since Essiac has been in use in the States, going  back to the 1930's, there has never been a case, we mean never ever a case of anybody having a toxic reaction to Essiac tea.

For anyone that feels they have taken too much and are worried about that, you can always flush your system by drinking one gallon of water, over a period of about an hour and that will totally flush out your system of any essiac.  Remember, these are all natural herbs without any chemicals, so you cannot possibly overdose on Essiac!

What other ailments can be helped by taking Essiac?

How does it help diabetics as an example?

Dr. Frederick Banting, one of the discoverers of insulin, said that" Essiac seems to regenerate the ability of the pancreas to produce insulin".  This simply has to do with the plaque build up on the pancreas that has slowed or stopped the pancreas from functioning properly.  The Essiac removes those plaque coatings to enable the pancreas to operate effectively.

We would recommend anyone starting Essiac that currently is taking insulin to consult with their doctor before starting an Essiac regime since it is important that you monitor your sugar levels daily.  In the case that your pancreas begins to start functioning because of taking Essiac and you continure taking the insulin you could possibly be a candidate for insulin shock.  In other words, if your pancreas is properly functioning then adding insulin to your body can create an overdose.  This can be avoided very simply by watching your blood sugar levels and reducing or eliminating the insulin injections.

Essiac users have reported that taking Essiac has helped with arthritis, kidney and bladder problems, ulcers, cataracts, glaucoma, liver problems, colon problems, gout, pneumonia, high blood pressure, headache, diarrhea, constipation and hemorrhoids.  And no matter what you say, there are thousands of patients totally free of cancer today who enthusiastically attribute their success to Essiac.

Essiac and Depression

Can Essiac help manage depression?

Absolutely yes.  The liver works with the chemical balances in the body.  The doctors will suggest that it is the brain that gets chemically imbalanced, but it actually has to do with the liver and the toxicity levels.

As an example, lets talk about a person whose mother just drops dead or is murdered.  They go into such a terrible state of shock, they cry for days and the body releases all these chemicals and it poisons the system.  The result is they become lethargic, depresssed, can't get out of bed, etc.  Their doctor gives them Prozac and you continue getting poisoned by taking more chemicals!

Once this person starts taking Essiac, and in a case like this, it should be an aggressive dosage, either three soft gel capsules three times per day, or if brewed Essiac, that would be thee ounces of liquid, three times per day, you will see an improvement within two weeks!  This is the Essiac detoxification process, ridding your system of the explosion of chemicals being released due to shock.

The above comments have been extracted from an interview with Dr. Marijah McCain, Naturopath, master herbalist, homeopath and research microscopist.
