Essiac and Toxicity

Can Essiac have a toxic side effect?

Absolutely not.  Here is a quick story that goes back to the 1970's, when parents made a quart of essiac tea, left it in the refrigerator and left the house with a six month old baby and a babysitter.  The babysitter thought it was ice tea and filled up an eight-ounce bottle of Essiac, straight, undiluted and gave it to the baby.  The baby sitter also drank two glasses herself.

When the parents returned home and found out about this, they flipped out and monitored the baby for two days, without any side effect at all.

Since Essiac has been in use in the States, going  back to the 1930's, there has never been a case, we mean never ever a case of anybody having a toxic reaction to Essiac tea.

For anyone that feels they have taken too much and are worried about that, you can always flush your system by drinking one gallon of water, over a period of about an hour and that will totally flush out your system of any essiac.  Remember, these are all natural herbs without any chemicals, so you cannot possibly overdose on Essiac!
