Why is 8 herb Essiac better than 4 herb Essiac?

Because of Potentiators

The original four herb formula for Essiac consisted of Burdock Root, Slippery Elm bark, Rhubarb Root & Sheep Sorrel.  These four herbs are the core to the Essiac formula, that was passed on from the Ojibwa Indians to Rene Caisse in the early 1920's.

In May of 1959 Rene Caisse arrived in Cambridge, MA to begin working with Dr. Charles Brusch (one of America's highest regarded doctor's, scientist and personal physician to President John F. Kennedy) to improve the functionability of the original four herb formula.

A potentiating herb means that it is more potent & increases the effectivness of other herbs in addition to adding healing potential of the whole synchronous effect of the entire formula.  After eight years of testing and research, the additional four herbs that were added to the core four herbs were Watercress, Blessed Thistle, Red Clover and Kelp.

To paraphrase of some of what Rene Caisse had to say about this Indian brew "my treatment is non-toxic herbs.  It goes to the seat of the trouble no matter where it is whether internal or on the surface, and gives healthy cells the strength to resist the demands of the malignant cells for the substance upon which the malignancy thrives, thus causing a recession of the malignant cells from the healthy cells, which have become stronger."

And, in reference to using Essiac as a daily supplement, Nurse Caisse also said "My treatment, given to people in health, is helpful in that it is a blood purifier and will do its work before there is any chance of the malignant cells invading the body."

We, at Herbal Balance For Life, Inc. use the eight herb improved formula, as passed to us through Dr. Brusch's estate, to make the most effect Essiac available.

Thanks,
Jim
